Housing Needs Assessment for Homeless Community Members and those at-risk for Homelessness

For the Spring 2020 Metropolitan Housing Planning class, groups were tasked with developing affordable housing plans for assigned community areas.  The Chicago community area of East Garfield Park faces unique housing issues related to affordability. This report considers the context of the neighborhood and its needs related to those experiencing and at risk for homelessness, then seeks to assess the need for transitional and supportive housing in East Garfield Park.
